It holds a modernly equipped facility for mechanical biological treatment of non-hazardous waste with a capacity of 95,000 tons. The facility accounts for a third of the total country capacity of mechanical biological treatment of non-hazardous waste. The product resulting from the mechanical biological treatment is refuse-derived fuel (RDF) which the company supplies to leading business entities in the Croatian cement industry. The features and quality of refuse-derived fuel (RDF) produced at the mechanical biological treatment facility make it a viable alternative to fossil fuels.
